The path to the successful development of a plastic product begins with the proper design and project drawing. We often receive a new drawing from a design engineer with little experience in injection molding. While well designed, it frequently needs more preparation. Our experienced team knows the best methods for engineering a patent part.

Two of the most overlooked areas in creative design are:

1) amount of draft required to remove the part from the molding

2) shrink rate of the different plastic materials

Our team understands the concepts necessary to build a great looking part that is moldable and efficient for large quantities. Technology Design works with our clients in the design phase to avoid many of the costly mistakes before having a patent or investing in a mold. This way more money and time can be saved in later steps.

We do not make any money until manufacturing the part at our facility. Thus, we do everything possible to expedite the beginning processes already mentioned, as well as prototyping, and tooling.
